Sigiriya

Sigiriya, or "Lion Rock," is a stunning 5th-century rock fortress and palace in Sri Lanka's Central Province. Built by King Kashyapa on a 180-metre granite monolith, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its ancient hydraulic water gardens, vibrant frescoes and the monumental lion-paw entrance.

Day 01, 02 & 03 Activities

Climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a legendary fortress built on a rock 2,500 years ago

Day 6 :

Nuwara Eliya

Nuwara Eliya is Sri Lanka's premier hill station. Situated at 1,889 metres, it is famous for its cool, crisp climate, sweeping emerald tea estates and British colonial architecture. Often dubbed "Little England," it offers a distinct contrast to the island's tropical lowlands.

Day 7 & 8 :

Ella

Ella is a charming mountain village in Sri Lanka's central highlands, famous for its lush tea plantations, misty peaks and cool climate. Located about 200 km east of Colombo, it has transformed from a sleepy settlement into a vibrant hub for backpackers and nature lovers seeking incredible views and a relaxed atmosphere.

Day 07 & 08 Activities

Enjoy a train trip from Ambewela (near Nuwara Eliya) to Ella, considered one of the most beautiful train rides in the world
Visit the most iconic place in Ella, the Nine Arch Bridge, an architectural marvel dating back to colonial times
For awe-inspiring panoramic views, ascend Little Adam's Peak on a 45-minute hike
Visit Ravana Cave for a short hike of about 30 minutes

Day 9 :

Yala

Yala National Park is Sri Lanka's most popular and second-largest wildlife reserve, located on the country's southeastern coast, roughly 260 km from Colombo. Renowned for its incredibly high density of Sri Lankan leopards, it is a premier destination for spotting diverse wildlife, including elephants, sloth bears, and hundreds of bird species.

En route to Yala/Tissa, explore the largest waterfall in Sri Lanka, called "Ravana"
